In response to the rapid success of Operation Flash on May 2, Milan Martić, the president of the RSK, ordered a rocket attack on the Croatian capital, Zagreb. Using Orkan rockets equipped with cluster munitions, the attack targeted the city center, resulting in civilian casualties and significant damage.
Today, the dates are observed in Croatia as anniversaries of victory and the restoration of territorial integrity. Various museums and historical archives, such as the Croatian History Museum , maintain artifacts and documentation related to the units and events of those two days. Almost done with Mastering Behavioral Interviews, making the final push for the end of November deadline. A lot of this resonates with me, especially the bursty progress---for me, integrating book writing with my family's other activities and our primary business was challenging.
I turned to some motivational hacks to keep me moving, like completing parts of the writing process out of order (cover, layout, website before final draft). I even ordered a pre-print to see what progress felt like in my hand. All of that kept the wind in my sails.
