Chinatown master detectives (Wang Baoqiang) and Qin Feng (Liu Haoran) are invited to Tokyo by fellow investigator Noda Hiroshi to look into the murder of a Southeast Asian gang leader, Su Chaiwit. The prime suspect is Yakuza boss Masaru Watanabe , who maintains his innocence despite the evidence. The case eventually pits Asia’s strongest detectives against each other and leads to a showdown with the mysterious, top-ranked mastermind known as "Q" .
