Folo Folo - Salma & O.c Apr 2026

This is a story inspired by the hit Zambian song by O.C. (Obrien Siame) and Salma Sky .

The song is a collaboration between Zambian artists O.C. (also known as Siame Oc) and Salma Sky (born Salma Dodia).

As they drove, the rhythmic fusion of beats—the signature sound of their love—played softly on the radio. Salma looked out the window, a mix of nerves and excitement fluttering in her chest. For so long, they had built their own world, but "Folo Folo" was about more than just the two of them; it was about the journey "kumwesun" (to our home). Folo Folo - Salma & O.C

The golden sun was beginning to dip behind the acacia trees of Lusaka as O.C. waited by his car, checking his reflection one last time. Tonight wasn't just any date night; he had promised Salma that he would finally take her home to meet the people who mattered most.

The lyrics center on a man asking his partner to "follow" him home to meet his parents, expressing how much his family—especially his mother—already admires her from afar. This is a story inspired by the hit Zambian song by O

"Ready?" a voice called out. Salma stepped onto the porch, looking radiant in a way that made O.C.’s heart skip. He didn't just see a beautiful woman; he saw the "angel" his mother had already glimpsed in the photos he’d sent home.

It is noted for its "perfect fusion" of Kalindula and Rhumba influences. (also known as Siame Oc) and Salma Sky (born Salma Dodia)

"Folo me," O.C. hummed along with the music, reaching over to take her hand. "Let me take you to my mama. I want the whole world—and my parents—to know that you are the joy in my life".
