In the first season of Generator Rex , viewers are introduced to a world where a massive explosion released microscopic machines called into every living thing, randomly turning them into mutated monsters known as E.V.O.s (Exponentially Variegated Organisms). The season follows 15-year-old Rex Salazar , an E.V.O. with the unique ability to control his nanites to build machines from his own body and, most importantly, cure other E.V.O.s by deactivating their nanites.
