One year after their first Robin Hood-style heist, the Four Horsemen—, Merritt McKinney , Jack Wilder , and new addition Lula May —emerge from hiding for a comeback performance designed to expose a tech magnate's unethical practices. However, their show is highjacked, and they find themselves forcibly recruited by Walter Mabry , a tech prodigy and the son of their former victim, Arthur Tressler.
Mabry blackmails the magicians into stealing a powerful computer chip capable of controlling all the world's computers from a high-security facility in Macau. Using elaborate cardistry and sleight of hand, the Horsemen successfully infiltrate the facility and secure the chip. HDNow You See Me 2
The climax takes place on New Year's Eve in London, where the Horsemen stage a series of public performances to lure Mabry into a trap. They trick Mabry and Tressler into boarding a fake private jet that is actually a barge on the River Thames, broadcasting their criminal confession to the world.
