: Standard Windows and macOS explorers cannot natively extract multi-part RAR files. You must use a third-party utility: Windows : WinRAR or 7-Zip . macOS : The Unarchiver or Keka . Linux : unrar or unar . Android : RAR for Android . Initiate Extraction : Right-click only the first file ( na15.part1.rar ). Select "Extract Here" or "Extract to [Folder Name]" .
The software will automatically detect and pull data from the other parts to reconstruct the original file(s). na15.part1.rar

Campaign Cartographer also has a city-based module called City Designer 3. There is an up-front cost, but it’s HUGELY powerful.

So it’s billed as something for larger maps but wonderdraft is one of the best mapmaking tools I’ve used. period (and I’ve used all the ones listed above, and in the comments, with the exception of dungeonfog which I just haven’t had the time to try yet). It also does a pretty great job with cities, and I suggest you check out the wonderdraft reddit for some great examples if you need to quickly see some. I definitely recommend you look at it if you haven’t seen it already. Hope you all are doing great!

I still stick to Azgaar for general map generating. I can tweak a lot of specs and it generates even trade routes (which is really something I can’t really do well). Art wise it’s very basic, bit I still like it as basis and then go do something beautiful with it …
I personally think Azgaar is the best mapmaking tool ever created. However, it can’t do cities. I’m guessing he’s planning on it though. That guy is insane. There’s well over 100,000 lines of code in his GitHub repo.
I recently bought Atlas Architect on Steam. It’s a 3D hexagon based map maker that’s best for region or world maps but has city tile options. For terrain you left click to raise elevation and right click to lower. It’s pretty neat!
