A secondary plot involves Dr. Vincent Sandinsky , a scientist Michael and Sara discover is connected to Christina. Though he initially appears as a victim of the conspiracy, he is revealed to have been an active participant all along. Key Characters and Developments

Christina Scofield, now revealed to be working for her own interests, manipulates the situation to keep the brothers apart. She even orders a sniper attack on Lincoln to keep him from interfering with her plans, though he is ultimately saved by his team.

Michael and Lincoln are at odds regarding how to handle Scylla , the Company's secret data module. While Michael wants to destroy it to end the Company's influence forever, Lincoln believes he can use it as leverage to gain freedom for himself and his family.

The episode concludes with a tense meeting between Michael and Lincoln. They realize they are now on opposite sides of a war , both acknowledging that their mother’s manipulations have turned them into adversaries.
