Bubby — [s6e2] Hubbedy

The duo targets a group of college sorority girls at Delta Delta Tau. After a long, successful recruitment pitch, Jess and Cece are horrified to realize they have successfully registered five new voters who intend to vote for Trump. To rectify this, Jess leads them on a "wild goose chase" to prevent them from actually reaching the headquarters. Schmidt’s "Lopes" Obsession

Jess and Cece are passionately campaigning for Hillary Clinton. Schmidt, a staunch Republican who refuses to support Donald Trump (preferring to wait for Paul Ryan in 2020), makes a bet with them: if they can recruit five new voters, he will cast his vote for Clinton.

In the New Girl episode (Season 6, Episode 2), the story follows three distinct comedic arcs centered on politics, modern dating, and obsessive organization. The Campaign Bet

Nick is struggling with his long-distance relationship ("long d") with Reagan. Winston, considering himself an expert in the field, decides to teach Nick the "ins and outs" of modern phone sex and video intimacy. The subplot features Winston's eccentric coaching, including his use of green-screen backgrounds (one of which is just a wall of cats) to "set the mood".
