Underdog By L.a. Witt — Easy & Genuine
Just finished Underdog by L.A. Witt and my heart is full! Set against a snowy Vermont backdrop, this story brings together a lonely horse trainer and a man looking for a second chance after prison. It’s a beautiful, gritty tale of unworthiness, stubbornness, and the healing power of a gentle hand—both for horses and humans.

If you are a fan of "horse books," this is the ultimate one. The level of detail about training and daily chores is excellent. It features Landon, a shy and quiet man who has never been given a chance, and Ty, who thinks his business means he can't have a relationship. It’s a solid 4-star read if you enjoy heavy angst and a lot of focus on the characters' growth through their work. Just finished Underdog by L
