Gabriel is pulled into a plot by a secret resistance cell led by his supposedly deceased brother, Rafe ( Jonathan Majors ). Their goal is to strike a blow against the occupation during a massive unity rally at Soldier Field.

Using "invisible" communication methods and low-tech ingenuity, the rebels plan to detonate a device—a literal "Trojan Horse"—to kill the alien leaders during the event.
