Suddenly, the smart lights in the cybercafe flickered and turned a deep, pulsing violet. Leo’s laptop, sitting closed in his backpack, began to play Aurora’s in-game theme song.

"Just this once," Leo whispered to the empty room. He clicked the link.

He opened the app. A counter at the top of the screen spun wildly, settling on an infinity symbol next to both gems and tickets. He had done it. He had unlimited access.
